Today marks the 20th anniversary of one of the greatest moments in Michael Jordan‘s career, but we’re not talking about anything to do with his on-court legacy. It’s been two decades since the release of Space Jam, the 1996 animated film in which Jordan teamed up with Looney Tunes characters to take on a gang of misfits known as the Monstars. In celebration of the film’s anniversary, Jordan Brand has rolled out an extensive Space Jam-inspired collection that will continue into the holiday shopping season.
Today’s launch features jackets, sweatshirts, jerseys, T-shirts, shorts, socks and hats. Each of the designs in this collection takes inspiration from the film’s memorable characters, colors and logos, resulting in a nostalgic vibe that will transport you right back to the day the film released in 1996.
Along with the apparel and accessories, this holiday collection rollout includes an early look at several Space Jam-inspired sneakers such as the Super.Fly 5, Ultra.Fly, Extra.Fly and CP3.X. These performance models will be joined by the retro release of the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam,” which arrives on Dec. 10 for $220 and is already one of the most anticipated sneakers of the season.
The complete Jordan Brand “Space Jam” holiday collection is now available from nike.com with prices ranging from $16 to $200.
