J.J. Watt’s first signature sneaker for Reebok is a hit.
The football star’s JJ I trainers were listed as “sold out” on Reebok.com after the kicks debuted on Friday.
A statement on the sportswear brand’s website indicated that new orders are forthcoming.
“A new target emerges August 5th,” the statement read. “Enter your email address below to get the latest Reebok JJ I updates.”
The amount of inventory was not disclosed.
The footwear is available online via retailers Eastbay and Academy for $99.
It’s Watt’s first shoe with the brand since the defensive star joined its stable of sponsored athletes last year.
One of Reebok’s last shoes to sell out quickly was April’s release of the Alien Stomper sneakers, which retailed for $175.
The limited-edition shoes inspired by Sigourney Weaver’s character Ripley in “Aliens” were unavailable after 38 minutes.
