Vans has hit a milestone. The iconic athletic brand is celebrating 50 years of its “Off The Wall” heritage throughout 2016. The highly anticipated ‘House of Vans‘ experience will kick off on March 16, with worldwide celebrations taking place across ten cities, including New York, London and Hong Kong.
The brand has one aim — to celebrate creative expression — and they are not alone, with many big-name music stars taking part.
To help recognize the role the brand has played throughout action sports, art, music and street culture, musicians such as Nas, Dizzee Rascal, Erykah Badu and The Kills will perform.
In addition to the live performances, the House of Vans experience will feature DIY workshops, shoe personalization, a Vans design retrospective, BMX demos and an interactive, 3-D display of Vans’ 2016 brand campaign.
Vans is working with collectors Skateboardmuseum Berlin and Pillowheat from The Other Side of the Pillow for the retrospective. The brand’s new campaign for 2016 will also be revealed at the time of the events.

The brand is also releasing 50 colors of its iconic Sk8-Hi sneaker in honor of the anniversary.
