Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has been hit with a fine for wearing Yeezy Cleats during the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” week.
The campaign during Week 13 of the season allowed players to show off charitable causes they care about by wearing custom cleats. Green-Beckham seemed to have another idea in mind, instead wearing a pair of Yeezy cleats that he apparently told NJ.com reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks were benefitting the “Yeezy Foundation.”
The Yeezy Foundation that Green-Beckham cited doesn’t exist, and that has led the NFL to fine him $6,076, according to ESPN. This comes after DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans was fined $6,000 earlier this season for wearing the same pair.

Watch on FN
Perhaps Green-Beckham was supporting (or poking fun) at headlines surrounding Kanye West, who was recently hospitalized for reported exhaustion and canceled the rest of the dates on his Saint Pablo Tour.
NFL players wore custom cleats in Week 13 supporting a range of causes including Alzheimer’s Association, Lupus Foundation of America, American Diabetes Association, National Alliance for Mental Health and Prevent Child Abuse America.
Play with a purpose.
