Adidas Originals has given us a sneak peek at what’s to come with its popular Tubular silhouette.
On Monday, the brand shared behind-the-scenes photos and video while on set with Portland Trail Blazers guard and Adidas athlete Damian Lillard. It looks as if Lillard might appear in a campaign for the new Tubulars that are set to drop in fall 2016.
While Adidas blurred out some of the new styles (we did notice hints of black and red on two pairs), we did get a look at the Tubular Instinct PK modeled by Lillard.
The high-top sneakers feature a patterned Primeknit upper and gray suede accents.
On the Adidas Originals Snapchat, the brand asked Lillard what he thinks will be the future of streetwear.
“I think the future of streetwear is people going against the grain, wearing clothes that don’t match the shoes — bigger clothes and tighter pants, things like that,” he said.
Adidas hasn’t shared when the shoes will be released or what the price point will be. The next Yeezy sneaker, the light grey Yeezy Boost 750, is set to drop Saturday.
