Converse and Missoni have been collaborating for a while now, but this time, the two brands are taking their look in a more rugged direction.
For fall ’16, the two eschewed the usual super-bright pops of color the Italian fashion house is known for, instead taking a more subtle approach to Missoni’s signature zigzag print. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 x Missoni “Hiker” is based on the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 and a hiking boot.
The upper is done in a premium knitted wool and offered in both olive and Morrocan blue, with a touch of multicolored knitting in the zigzags and suede accents done in the same hues as the upper.

The sneakers were worn by some models during Missoni’s men’s fall ’16 runway show in Milan in January.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 x Missoni “Hiker” is available starting Friday on Converse.com and in Converse stores, Missoni stores and select retailers worldwide and is priced at $200.
