The defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers were at the White House on Thursday to meet with President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, just hours after the two met with President-elect Donald Trump and his wife, Melania.
From the looks of their posts on social media, it seems that the team had a good time getting a tour of the White House grounds and snapping photos with the first lady. They even presented the president with a personalized Cavaliers jersey.
But the team was also sure to do a good deed while there. Michelle Obama took the Cavs to the basketball court on the White House grounds, where a group of veterans was on its own tour in celebration of Veterans Day today. Cavaliers star LeBron James thanked the veterans for their service and offered them all tickets to their game tonight in Washington, D.C., against the Washington Wizards.
