Andre Drummond Hits Full-Court Shot In Air Jordan 14
Andre Drummond has issues making his free throws, but apparently he doesn’t have any problems hitting shots from the opposite end of the court.
The Detroit Pistons center – and first-time NBA All-Star – launched a shot on Monday night against the Toronto Raptors at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Mich. from the opposite end of the court with time expiring in the third quarter. The 71-foot shot, according to multiple reports, is the longest shot made in the NBA since LeBron James buried an 82-foot shot in 2007.
Drummond is shooting 35 percent from the free throw line this season but increased his three-point shooting percentage to 50 percent with the buzzer beater – the center is 2-of-4 from long range on the season. The Jordan Brand-sponsored center hit the shot in the Air Jordan 14 in a tonal gray and white colorway.

Although Drummond made headlines with nailing the buzzer beater, the Pistons fell to the Raptors 103-89. Drummond scored 12 points and 13 points in the loss.
Drummond is having a breakout season. The center is averaging 17 points and 14.9 rebounds a game, the highest averages of his four-year NBA career. Drummond will not only appear in his first All-Star Game this weekend, but will also participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and attempt to defeat its reigning champion, Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
