The next iteration of Adidas‘ sellout Ultra Boost sneaker drops today for both men and women.
The brand first released the Ultra Boost silhouette last year, and has released several colorways since. The huge popularity of the sneakers has left many still attempting to get a pair. Today, Adidas will release the latest silhouette, the Ultra Boost Uncaged.
This time around, the brand did away with the caging on the shoe’s upper, now relying solely on an internal midfoot skeleton developed for its top-sponsored track athletes. As with previous iterations of the Ultra Boost, the shoes make use of Adidas’ Primeknit and Boost technologies.
The re-engineered Primeknit upper also has an adaptive knit collar and was created to provide flexible breathability and natural movement through each stride. The full-length Boost midsole allows for maximum energy return for the runner. The shoes’ tiered lacing system gives runners a more personalized fit.

“Ultra Boost Uncaged combines the performance and innovation standard of Ultra Boost with the unique flair of our passionately creative fan base,” said Ben Herath, vice president of design for Adidas Running.
The sneakers, priced at $180, will be available today on Adidas.com and in stores.
