Adidas is really feeling the Rod Laver love.
After reviving the vintage Rod Laver Super silhouette last month, the German athletic brand is issuing another update to the lifestyle sneaker, this time with the Primeknit treatment.
The new Rod Laver PK Pack is set to hit stores on Aug. 5, and it will come in two colorways: white with navy accents, and navy with white accents. They will retail for $120 at Adidas.com and the brand’s retail partners.
In addition to a lightweight Primeknit upper, the latest Rod Laver Super sneakers also boast classic details such as the signature toe panel and superlight polyurethane tooling.
The heritage Adidas shoe first debuted in 1970 and was named after Australian tennis great Rod Laver, who won 200 singles titles during his career, including four wins at Wimbledon.
Like the Adidas Stan Smith style, the Rod Laver Super sneakers feature the tennis icon’s likeness on the tongue. And several versions of the shoe released recently by Adidas — including a pair of knit and mesh makeups and a gilded metallic look — also had his name stamped on the heel tab.
