Adidas Originals is adding three new colorways to its Superstar 80 Primeknit family. The silhouette still features the style’s signature three stripes and shell toe cap, but now it has uppers accented in black, white and gray variants woven in a multicolor Primeknit palette.
Adidas first introduced the knitted upper on the staple sneaker style when it released the Superstar 80 Primeknit in inverse black and white colorways last summer. The style is a nod to the original Superstar from the ’80s and is just one of several other new Primeknit releases this year.
The new pack features a multicolor Primeknit upper and tongue, a leather heel tab, color uniformed sole and shell toe. Earlier this month, Adidas released an exclusive Superstar silhouette for women with an embossed snakeskin motif.
The sneakers will retail for $130 and will be available on Adidas’s website and select retailers nationwide July 1.
