Adidas Originals has a sneaker release prepared to drop on NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto, but it’s not a basketball silhouette. Instead, the brand will debut a reimagined pack of an acclaimed running shoe.
The Adidas Originals Xeno Borealis ZX Flux pack – which features three different colorways – will hit stores Feb. 13 and retail for $130. The pack will also be available in kids sizes for $100.
The pack uses the brand’s Xeno light-responsive technology, which displays bright, vibrant colors when the flash of a camera hits the silhouette. What makes this Xeno release different from others is that the Xeno Borealis ZX Flux glows in the dark in a bright green colorway because of its glow-in-the-dark technology. The pack, according to the brand, is its first glow-in-the-dark Xeno offering available in three different colorways.
The pack – the brand’s second Xeno shoe release made available to all customers – will be sold at the brand’s major retail partners, its website, and its retail locations throughout the country.
Adidas unveiled its signature shoe for NBA superstar Damian Lillard, the D Lillard 2, in a colorway inspired by the Aurora Borealis for NBA All-Star Weekend back in December. The shoe hit stores Jan. 28.
