We’ve seen Pharrell Williams wearing a version of Adidas‘ NMD sneakers with the words “Human Race” on the upper for a while, but we didn’t know much release information until now.
The brand and Pharrell are releasing the highly anticipated Hu NMD on Friday in select retailers and in BBC Ice Cream flagship stores globally. The shoes feature a yellow knit upper with the word “Human” on one shoe and “Race” on the other. As with other NMD silhouettes, the shoes have a white boost sole and EVA inserts, along with a new lacing system that’s concentrated on the top of the foot to fully show off the words.

The kicks will be available in Adidas Originals flagship locations starting Aug. 25. Some are reporting that the shoes will be priced at $240, but that has not been confirmed by the brand. Adidas’ NMD silhouette has been wildly popular, selling out quickly every time a new colorway has been released, and with Pharrell involved this time, these will likely be gone in a flash.
