Last weekend, Adidas Originals released the long-awaited NMD City Sock in a black-and-white colorway, as well as the NMD Primeknit Camo Pack. Both silhouettes sold out quickly, but there’s more to look forward to this summer for NMD fans.
The NMD_CS1 — the next City Sock style — is set to drop this summer in the U.S. and outside the U.S. on Saturday. The mid-cut, laceless shoe features an all-black Primeknit upper, Boost midsole and black and blue EVA inserts. As the name implies, the shoe is meant to fit like a sock, and according to the brand, it’s designed for the “urban commute.”
On Monday, Adidas announced that the NMD_R1 in all-white with red and blue EVA inserts will be released this summer.
The NMD line takes inspiration from some of Adidas’ classic, beloved silhouettes while at the same time looking ahead to the future. Adidas has not disclosed a price for the shoe.
