Houston Rockets guard James Harden is on his way to his fourth NBA All-Star Game, and Adidas is making sure the superstar baller will have a bold shoe on his feet when he hits the court.
The brand revealed the James Harden Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE today, Adidas’ fourth basketball installment of its Aurora Borealis footwear collection, a line of shoes inspired by Toronto’s vibrant culture and the Northern Lights that can be seen in the upper parts of Canada. The collection also features Adidas Originals silhouettes, including the ZX Flux.
Harden’s edition of the shoe will hit stores Feb. 12 and will retail for $130.
The latest iteration of the shoe features a Primeknit upper and Boost cushioning for comfort and exceptional game time performance. The shoe boasts a two-tone upper featuring teal mesh and reflective Xeno scales that glow when a camera flash hits them. The shoe also features green and deep purple accents along the outsole, forefoot mesh and toe box that glow-in-the-dark. Rounding out the shoe’s color palette is pink, which is used on the shoe’s torsion plate, three stripe branding and Harden’s number “13” atop the shoe.
The brand also announced that more Harden colorways of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 would arrive this spring.
