Adidas Debuts Tubular Doom Primeknit Collaboration With Kith

Last week, Adidas announced that it will embark on its Consortium Tour, an international trip to world-renowned sneaker retailers with special edition collaborations throughout.

This week, the brand is announcing its first collaboration, with Kith NYC. The Tubular Doom Primeknit is meant to pay homage to Kith’s home in New York. The gray colorway is inspired by New York’s urban landscape, and the sneakers feature a Primeknit sock-like upper for additional warmth in the winter. Kith’s slogan, “Just Us,” is featured on the heel guard of each shoe.

The shoes retail for $165 and will be released on Jan. 23 at Kith stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Kith women’s store and on KithNYC.com at 12 a.m. EST. A further release takes place Jan. 30 at No.42 Paris, No.74 Berlin and other Adidas Consortium retailers.

The Adidas Consortium tour continues throughout 2016. The next stop is Nice Kicks in San Francisco.
