For those who appreciate the finer things in life, Adidas‘ latest shoes could be for you.
The EQT Oddity Luxe pack includes an update on two silhouettes from its Equipment line started in the ’90s. The EQT Running Support ’93 shoe for men and an EQT Racing shoe for women are done in luxurious materials — the leather uppers use a mix of snake, ostrich and croc embossing.
Adidas’ Oddity concept makes use of clashing colors and materials on some of its classic silhouettes. The idea came from development of first-round product samples, made using scrap materials of different colors and textures.
The women’s shoe retails for $120 and the men’s for $160 at Adidas.com, Adidas stores and select retailers starting May 6.
Adidas also recently collaborated with London store Footpatrol on an EQT Running Cushion ’93 sneaker. The collaboration is part of Adidas’ Consortium tour in which it is visiting and collaborating with top sneaker destinations around the word, including Kith NYC and Nice Kicks in San Francisco.
