Kim Kardashian West has been staying in New York following a scary incident in Paris, where she was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in her hotel room.
Kardashian West was in Paris with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner and mom Kris Jenner for Paris Fashion Week. Early Monday morning, according to reports, robbers entered her room at the celeb-favored L’Hotel de Pourtales, tied Kardashian West up and stole a ring worth nearly $5 million along with another $5 million in jewels.
Since then, her family has mostly kept quiet and stayed off social media. One family member who has spoken out is Caitlyn Jenner, who wrote on Instagram, “Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I’m so thankful she’s okay.”

Kardashian West’s close friend Jonathan Cheban paid a visit to her apartment in New York. He was spotted bringing the star a basket of goodies, and when the Daily Mail asked about Kardashian West, he said, “She’s not doing so good.”
Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld also spoke out about the incident after the Chanel spring ’17 show. Lagerfeld said that Kardashian West is “too public” and that “you cannot display your wealth, then be surprised that some people want to share it.”
