Watch Sarah Jessica Parker’s First Day “On the Job” at Amazon Fashion

Sarah Jessica Parker is the newest hire at Amazon Fashion. To celebrate the recent launch of SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker shoes on the site, the teams collaborated on a video, in which the designer begins her first day on the job.
“I think, for any new business, the offer to partner with Amazon is just a massively big opportunity and a chance to grow a business with the sort of support and reach that is unmatched in e-commerce. We have found it especially thrilling because they know their customers so well and are in a unique position to edit a collection that speaks directly to her,” Parker told FN.
“As well, they have the confidence to curate a collection that is based solely on appeal and creativity. They are in the position to take chances, to interface with customers and the marketing strength we could never have replicated. Perhaps most importantly they have a great editorial eye and the love supporting and investing in new brands.
It is a wonderfully privileged place for us to be and we take this partnership very seriously while having enormous fun with our buyers. It’s been a dream,” she continued.

In the beginning of the clip, Parker, who is wearing glitter ankle booties, is seen surrounded by shoes and even sniffs one of them.
After an Amazon employee tells her she is now part of the “family,” Parker starts brainstorming her welcome: “What if I give all of my SJP family members a pair of SJP shoes?”
“When I said family, I meant it more like a metaphor,” says the Amazon exec.
The duo then starts picking out shoes for Amazon partners, such as Bernadette Peters and Jennifer Grey. Parker then asks the Amazon device Echo what size “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor wears. After the device replies 15, Parker quips that it’s “outside a standard sizing.”
After a couple of special gifts are immediately delivered to the office, SJP says, “I’m going to be spoiled.”
