Kendall & Kylie Jenner Celebrate Spring ’16 Collection In NYC

On the heels of New York Fashion Week, Kendall and Kylie Jenner officially launched their eponymous clothing and footwear brand tonight at a TriBeCa loft party. Naturally, they were wearing strappy stilettos from the collection, which is made in partnership with Marc Fisher.
The event saw their squad of starry friends from a gaggle of social media models Martha Hunt, Devon Windsor and Josephine Skriver to even brother-in-law Kanye West, who made a brief appearance with A$AP Rocky to show his support.
Since FN sat down with the sisters this summer to exclusively break news of their shoe collection, they’ve been busy learning the ins and outs of the industry, they shared.
“Every day it’s something new. We’ve been doing this for a little while now and kind of evolving through it,” said Kendall. “Especially the styles as you grow into your look, change and evolve along the way. What you see on paper doesn’t always translate in person. You have to find your groove. We are still getting there.”

Kylie agreed, echoing that “the label will grow with us. It’s so much more sophisticated than anything else we’ve done, which I find really exciting,” she said.
With both revving up for another busy fashion season in New York and abroad – what with modelling, front row and Yeezy duties – how are they preparing for the frenetic month ahead?
“Sleeping,” says Kendall. “A lot of sleeping. Though that’s done now,” she said, noting it’s go time. “There is no more sleeping for me for another month.” Kylie also agreed that “finding downtime,” is proving difficult.
Speaking of downtime, we’ve noticed that the youngest sister has taken to wearing mostly sneakers around town these days, after she told us flats were not her style back in August. “I’ve definitely embraced a more casual side. I used to wear heels to lunch but not really any more. Just for nights. I’m all about a cool shoe though.”
Kendall agreed that great boots plus a “statement jacket ” are all she needs to be feel put together on the run. A coat that covers and shoes to move in: what could be more essential for the most followed sisters on the planet?
