Celine Folk Pump
The Red Folk pump, made of folk calfskin, is available at Celine's Madison Avenue store for $1,250.

Celine is welcoming spring’s arrival with a brand new shoe style.

The luxury label has launched its new “Folk” crisscross pump in its namesake stores and is debuting a special animated video on its website today to tout the new look.

Meanwhile, Celine’s sneakers have gotten major attention from celebrities in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, Kris Jenner traveled to Paris to watch daughter Kendall walk in the Balmain and Dior runway shows. She was seen leaving L.A. in black-and-white Céline sneakers, which both Kendall and Kylie Jenner have worn.

Overall, though, the label’s hit handbags have overshadowed the shoe category in recent years. Creative director Phoebe Philo — who earlier this year was rumored to be leaving the house but is staying put — has designed a series of hit bags.
