Barbie Releases Doll With Charlotte Olympia Shoes

Charlotte Olympia Dellal is celebrating her Barbie collaboration. The designer behind Charlotte Olympia launched a doll with coordinating accessories and a capsule collection of shoes and clutch bags inspired by the iconic Mattel toy.
The doll is inspired by old Hollywood glamour, with influences from the 1959 original look. Accessories include the brand’s Kitty flats, Eve platform sandals, the Pandora clutch box and more.
Plus, the designer launched a capsule collection of Barbie Girl shoes, including a platform, peep-toe mesh sandal and flats. Two clutches are also in the mix.
“This was a childhood dream come true to collaborate with Barbie,” said Dellal. “It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to design and create a Charlotte Olympia aesthetic for one of the most iconic figures in the world.”

Added Robert Best, senior director at Barbie Design, “There is something playful about all of Charlotte Olympia Dellal‘s designs, which in addition to her being a talented designer, make for a perfect collaboration,” he said. “Flats never looked so good on Barbie.”
The collaboration, including the doll and accessories, launches today at Charlotte Olympia stores, Charlotteolympia.com, Thebarbiecollection.com and Netaporter.com.
