Melissa is back with another collaboration.
The Brazilian footwear brand, best known for its plastic footwear, has joined forces with Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch on a range of spring ’16 sandals.
The women’s slide sandal style was done in four monochromatic hues — black, white, nude and navy — and features Herchcovitch’s signature floral embellishments on the upper. It retails for $90 and is available now on Melissa’s e-commerce website.
Melissa has been collaborating with a number of different brands this year.
For spring ’16, it collaborated with Jason Wu on a range of plastic thong-style sandals. It also teamed up with Sebastian Errazuriz on a range of Valentine’s Day-themed plastic ballet flats.
On the runway, Melissa teamed up with Jeremy Scott on plastic mule sandals. Five other collaborations styles were then released such as plastic flats, sandals and ankle booties.
The brand has also had a longstanding partnership with Karl Lagerfeld. Last year’s collection included lug sole rain boots and plastic peep-toe loafers.
