Taylor Swift, Bella Hadid, Alexa Chung Party In New York Ahead Of Met Gala

Celebrities have descended upon New York for tonight’s Met Gala, celebrating this year’s Costume Institute exhibit titled “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West aren’t the only ones who have been spotted around the city. On Sunday, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour hosted a pre-Met Gala party at her New York townhouse. Celebrities Bella Hadid and The Weeknd attended, along with the gala’s co-chairs, singer Taylor Swift and actor Idris Elba. Also on hand was Apple CEO Tim Cook and “The Late Late Show” host James Corden.

Bella Hadid shined in a Givenchy strapless dress paired with nude strappy sandals. Swift continued to embrace her new rocker-chic look in a plaid dress, leather jacket and lug-sole heeled booties.

On Saturday night, Vogue also hosted a party at New York store Search & Destroy. Models including Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt attended, along with Alexa Chung, Chloe Sevigny and Vogue contributing editor Lynn Yaeger.
