Barack and Michelle Obama on Sunday attended their final Kennedy Center Honors gala, which was hosted by Stephen Colbert and honored actor Al Pacino, singer James Taylor, rock band the Eagles, singer Mavis Staples and pianist Martha Argerich.
The first couple received a standing ovation at the 39th annual honors in Washington, D.C. For the occasion, Michelle Obama wore an off-the-shoulder emerald and pink floral-print brocade gown. The dress had pearl embellishments on the waist. Her black peep-toe heels peeked out from under the gown.
Model Lily Aldridge, “The Color Purple” actress Cynthia Erivo, rock band the Kings of Leon, actor Kevin Spacey and TV personality Gayle King were among those in attendance.
