Lady Gaga surprised the fashion world on Thursday night when she walked in Marc Jacobs‘ fashion show with Kendall Jenner and other models. Jacobs’ collection looked as if it was designed with Gaga in mind, especially those crazy-high platform boots.
After walking in the show, Gaga wore her full look straight off the runway to her New York hotel. Gaga looked completely at ease in the boots—after all, she does have experience walking in Alexander McQueen’s Armadillo boots.
It’s a dramatic look for Gaga, who has for the most part toned down her look lately, opting for a red carpet glam style. She’s been spotted lately in pumps by Brian Atwood.
She arrived at Monday night’s Grammy Awards wearing an outfit designed by Jacobs and custom ultra-high platforms by Pleaser. When she hit the stage for her David Bowie tribute performance, she wore pointy-toe shoes by Stuart Weitzman. Gaga also wore platform Gucci shoes to perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
