With summer about to kick into high gear, most of us probably have sandals on the mind.

But model Gigi Hadid is making a solid case for season-less dressing. Hadid was spotted out and about in New York on Thursday night wearing a pair of Stuart Weitzman Clinger velvet booties in a decidedly wintry burgundy color.

Before you throw your boots into the back of the closet for the summer months, think again. Hadid proves that even boots that seem fit for the chilliest of temperatures can work for warm days. She lightens up her look with a denim jacket and jeans, finished off with a graphic T-shirt and glamorous shades.

This particular silhouette isn’t yet available on Stuart Weitzman’s website but will be for fall ’16.

Earlier this week, the brand debuted its fall ’16 campaign starring Hadid, who kicks up her feet and shows off her boxing moves while wearing a pair of suede thigh-high boots and a mod block-heel boot.
