This weekend we announced that NikeLab and Olivier Rousteing would be releasing a collaboration collection, and now we’ve got a closer look at the shoes.
The men’s and women’s collection, which includes clothing and shoes, will be available on June 2 at select NikeLab stores, as well as on its e-commerce website.
The offering includes four NikeLab soccer lifestyle models that have been reworked with Rousteing’s signature aesthetic (think black colorways and major gold accents, which we often see in his Balmain collections).
“Olivier played [soccer] when he was younger… so he was quite excited about bringing his point of view to these [soccer-inspired] shoes,” said Nate Jobe, NikeLab’s senior design director of footwear. “Because he’s not a footwear designer, he approached the process with a curiosity that was refreshing in many ways. He was instrumental in helping us bring the shoes to a new place. The zippers, embroidered patterns on the Flyknit and luxury finishing are all reflections of his unique aesthetic.”

The NikeLab Footscape Magista is a soccer boot that has been redesigned for everyday wear. It features a Flyknit upper with metallic gold embroidery, a leather pull tab and metallic gold aglets.
The NikeLab Free Mercurial Flyknit features a Flyknit upper and Nike Free outsole for flexible comfort. The heel has a metallic gold zipper.
The NikeLab Roshe Tiempo VI mixes a classic soccer boot with a more lightweight Nike Roshe outsole. Its leather upper and asymmetric tongue add a performance feel.
The NikeLab Free Hypervenom 2 is Nike’s most agile soccer boot. Here, it’s finished with metallic gold, a high-gloss film and Nike Free outsole.
