Street Style Sneakers Seen At New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week can be somewhat of an athletic challenge — running from show to show, scrambling to get photos, racing to grab your seat.

So naturally, some of the fashion industry’s biggest names and street style stars forgo sky-high heels in lieu of something a bit more practical: sneakers. These days, of course, sneakers are just as much a style statement as a pair of Louboutins.

The Converse All-Star has been a favorite of fashionistas for years now. This week, we spotted a punchy aqua pair and Comme des Garçons x Converse styles. Other classics included Reebok white sneakers and Adidas sneakers.

One Fashion Week attendee opted for a brand new style — Adidas Tubular sneakers in white, which she paired with a cheeky sheer printed dress.

Eva Chen and Nick Wooster both chose easy, go-with-everything white slip-on sneakers. Hogan and Creative Recreation sneakers also made appearances.

As Fashion Month continues with London, Milan and Paris to come, there’s no doubt that fashion-industry insiders have packed their sneakers to hit the streets of Europe.
