Exclusive: Grenson Launching New Range For Spring ’16

Grenson is launching a new range of men’s styles for the spring ’16 season. The British footwear brand will unveil its new line of Genuine Moccasins and G:One Range at Pitti Uomo, which includes updated takes on its classic dress and boot styles.

The G:One collection, which will retail between £375 and £395 in the U.K., includes subtle tweaks to Grenson’s cap-toe oxfords, as well as Chukka and Chelsea boots.

“This season, we developed a new last that spans the divide between classic and modern,” said Tim Little, Grenson’s creative director. “What we do best is classic British shoes in the finest leathers, and this collection is the perfect example [of that].”

In addition to the updated line, it will also introduce the Genuine Moccasin capsule collection, which ranges from £140 and £160. The core styles includes a focus on the boat shoe and classic loafer silhouette.

“Grenson originally launched a moccasin collection back in the early 50s, but over time they became outdated and old fashioned,” said Little.

With the men’s shows at Pitti Uomo quickly approaching, Little gave us a sneak peek at Grenson’s upcoming men’s collection—including a foray into the world of mandals.

“We have so much for Pitti, we need another stand,” said Little. “There are lots of new Goodyear Welted shoes, including sandals for the first time. Some soft suede Derbys that are totally unlined, and some new colored suedes for our formal classics.”

The designer also said to expect a few collaboration styles.
