Lego Designs Slippers To Protect Bare Feet From Lego Bricks

Any parent knows how dangerous a stray Lego brick can be when stepping on one unexpectedly. To relieve Lego owners of this notorious inconvenience, the toy company has teamed up with French ad agency, Brand Station, to create anti-lego sole padded slippers.

The square-shaped slippers feature the iconic red and yellow colorway with the Lego logo plastered front and center.

According to French blog Piwee, only 1,500 pairs have been produced as part of a holiday promotion from Lego. The slippers are not for sale, but customers can win a pair by heading to the Lego France site and creating and submitting a Christmas list.

Brand station took to Facebook to promote the slippers last week saying they are the”ultimate Christmas gift for parents” and “allows you to walk around the house at night without a care.” The agency also provided a video clip showing how the slippers were made.

While “Star Wars” Legos are still one of the most popular toys for kids, especially with the movie just one month away, parents can join in on the fun with their footwear — even if they can’t get their hands on the Lego slippers.
