Star New York Giants wide receivers Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham Jr. have teamed up off the field as well as on — the two NFL players have a grand ol’ time in Foot Locker’s new back-to-school spot, titled “Thoughts.”
“Both Victor and Odell are competitive and award-winning receivers — perfect picks to highlight Foot Locker’s offering of Nike product this back-to-school season,” said Stacy Cunningham, EVP of marketing for Foot Locker, in a statement.
In the commercial, Cruz and Beckham Jr. meet in the team’s training facility, where they compliment each other on their Nike gear from Foot Locker. Then the viewer is treated to the comedic inner thoughts of both receivers, with Cruz wondering what Beckham Jr. uses to color his hair and Beckham Jr. not remembering Cruz being as weird as he was during their conversation, among other topics.
“I had an awesome time working on this commercial with Victor, who is such an experienced NFL player,” said Beckham Jr. in a statement. “It was a cool experience, and it was great to have some fun off the field.”

In the commercial, Cruz is wearing the all-black Nike Air Huarache Run style, and Beckham Jr. is wearing the Nike Flyknit Racer Oreo.
