Sports Authority is going digital. The retailer has launched a new, free personal-training app called BodyFit, giving customers access to more than 100 at-home fitness-training videos.
The app accompanies Sports Authority’s newly redesigned BodyFit accessory line and focuses on three areas — activate, train and recover.
While using the app, customers can seek guidance on how to use BodyFit equipment, with a library of fitness videos in three categories. “Activate” videos prepare the body to work out, maximize training effects and prevent injury; the “train” category builds strength, power and conditioning for a lean and toned body; and “recover” videos provide post-training tips and routines to reduce post-workout soreness and enhance recuperation.
“Our new BodyFit App is a free personal-training app that offers exclusive and original exercise videos guided by professional fitness instructor Laura Wilson,” stated Stephen Binkley, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Sports Authority, in a statement.
