Some of the most sought-after colorways of Nike’s signature basketball shoe releases are the Christmas editions, worn by the icons of the sport on Christmas Day. For this Christmas, the brand is set to release four signature shoes inspired by the holiday.
The 2015 Nike Basketball Christmas Collection – featuring the Kobe X, the KD8, the Kyrie 2 and the LeBron 13 – will hit stores on Dec. 26.
The Kobe X boasts a multicolor Flyknit toe cap with hints of red, black and gold throughout the shoe, giving it a holiday feel. It also features five golden rings on the heel, not only a nod to the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas” but also to Kobe Bryant’s five NBA titles.

The latest Kevin Durant signature shoe, the KD8, gets a naughty and nice makeover, featuring a white lateral side contrasted by a red and black graphic on the medial side. The shoe’s textured midsole wraps into the heel counter giving it a hot coal appearance.
Kyrie Irving’s latest shoe, the Kyrie 2, has an appearance reminiscent of the abominable snowman, using a predominantly white and blue upper and midsole as the snowman’s base, featuring a midfoot strap that includes a zigzag graphic that looks like teeth. The shoe is completed with an icy, transparent outsole.
The Christmas Edition of LeBron James’ latest signature shoe, the LeBron 13, is inspired by Midwest winters, with icy blue used throughout the silhouette. The shoe also features a frozen-looking lion that adorns the laces and an ice-inspired “13” on the heel.
