Geox Sponsors Italian Winter Sports Athletes

TEAM ITALIA: Footwear brand Geox has renewed its partnership with the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) for the winter season 2015/2016 and will sponsor more than 400 professional athletes from 13 disciplines and the technical and managerial team with 1,000 pairs of shoes.

As part of the official partnership, which was kicked off in late 2014, Geox will provide all Italian athletes of the World Cup from disciplines such as alpine skiing and biathlon, with a line of sportive and casual après ski shoes for official appointments and travels.

In addition to the waterproof and breathable Amphibiox line, the athlete’s package will also include the men’s model Nebula or the women’s sneaker Omaya. The selection ranges from a brown high-top laced sneakers made of leather and nylon with yellow stitching for men to black boots for women with faux fur lining and inserts of colorful tweed.

The campaign, featuring snowboard cross world champion Luca Matteotti, Dominik Paris, Irene Curtoni and Manuela Moelgg (number one alpine skiing) will be launched in some of the most frequented Italian mountain resorts, including Bormio and Cervinia.
