An all-time sneakerhead favorite Air Jordan shoe will once again make its way to retail shelves this weekend, in a monochromatic colorway.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low IE Black Cat will hit stores Saturday with a retail price of $170.
The shoe features an all-black premium leather-and-nubuck upper, with an all-black midsole and outsole. While the shoe is predominately black, there are hints of true red throughout the silhouette, including the Jumpman logo on the tongue, a checkered pattern on the carbon-fiber shank, the Jumpman logo on the insole and the herringbone pattern along the bottom of the shoe.
The shoe, which was originally released during Michael Jordan’s first full season for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA after his first retirement, boasts a PU midsole featuring a carbon-fiber spring plate and full-length Air unit for comfort.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low IE silhouette, arguably the most popular of all Air Jordan shoes, has been released in a number of iterations recently, including the Croc — a black, metallic green, gum yellow and white colorway — on Sept. 19, and the Cobalt — a white and cement gray upper, with cobalt accents and an icy translucent outsole — on Aug. 1.
