Sneakerheads looking for a shoe inspired by Halloween are in luck. Adidas is set to release three of its most sought-after basketball shoes — two of its latest releases and a classic retro silhouette — reimagined with the holiday in mind.
The Ballin’ Dead pack, featuring zombie-inspired iterations of the D Rose 6, the D Lillard 1 and the Crazy 8, will be available on the brand’s website on Halloween and will retail for $140, $105 and $110, respectively.
The Crazy 8 features an all-pink upper with a zombie-brain print overlay, a slime green-and-purple splattered midsole and a glow-in-the-dark outsole with three-stripe branding. The tongue boasts a crossbones and a “Night of the Ballin’ Dead” graphic on the tongue.
The D Rose 6 version has a black upper with an embossed, reflective zombie-brain pattern, green-drip graphics surrounding the Adidas branding on the tongue, a glow-in-the-dark outsole and the D Rose logo prominently displayed on the heel. The shoe is finished with pink on the Stableframe midsole, toe cap and Fitframe heel cage.
The D Lillard 1 boasts a two-tone upper, using black with a reflective brain-pattern overlay and slime green. The shoe features a glow-in-the-dark midsole with pink splatter oozes. It also has one of Damian Lillard’s #4BarFriday verses — this one inspired by Halloween.
