Adidas To Release D Lillard 2 Aurora Borealis For NBA All-Star Weekend

This is the first of Damian Lillard’s signature shoes to feature Adidas’ Primeknit and Boost materials.

Adidas has just unveiled the D Lillard 2 edition of the Aurora Borealis collection to celebrate the NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto Feb. 12-14.

The collection is inspired by Toronto city life and the Northern Lights, which can be seen in parts of Northern Canada. The sneakers feature multicolor Primeknit material and glow in the dark.

This is the first time that Damian Lillard’s signature shoe is created with a Primeknit upper and Boost cushioning. The D Lillard 2 style will retail for $115, the D Rose 6 for $140 and the Crazylight Boost 2.5 for $125.

The Aurora Borealis collection will drop on Adidas.com and in select retailers Jan. 28.

Adidas has just released the D Lillard 2, the second iteration of the Portland Trail Blazer guard’s signature shoe. The D Lillard 1 releases included the PDX Carpet Edition inspired by Portland’s airport carpet, the Oakland Rebels Edition and the Forestry Edition.
