Good fashion. Great cause. Heidi Klum, Dakota Johnson, Naomi Campbell and Ciara were among the big names in the house at the amfAR gala in Milan on Saturday evening.
Kenneth Cole, chairman of amfAR, presided over the Milan Fashion Week fundraiser, which raised more than $1.6 million for the amfAR Institute for HIV Cure Research.
Chiara Ferragni, who showed her eponymous collection in Milan on Sunday and is a longtime amfAR supporter, was also there, along with Aquazzura’s Edgardo Osorio.
The event was sponsored by jeweler Harry Winston, and Vionnet threw the after-party. Renzo Rosso was honored during the evening for his commitment to AIDS research.
The evening was just the latest of amfAR’s star-studded events. The amfAR Inspiration Gala was held in New York in June. That evening honored actress/singer Miley Cyrus and TV talk-show host Andy Cohen for their contributions to the AIDS-affected communities.
