Mindy Kaling Wears Rebecca Minkoff Shoes On ‘The Tonight Show’

Mindy Kaling has an impressive shoe collection, and she did not disappoint on the set of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The star of “The Mindy Project” chose a pair of strappy shoes by Rebecca Minkoff, which she declared her “favorite” on Instagram.
“Ever the friendly showgirl in David Koma, @suzannekalan jewelry and my favorite @rebeccaminkoff shoes for @fallontonight,” she posted.

Kaling was on the show to talk about her latest book, “Why Not Me?,” and also chatted with Fallon about the upcoming “Star Wars” movie, “The Force Awakens.” The actress is a big fan and will soon moderate a panel on the series.
Footwear News recently interviewed Kaling’s stylist both off and off screen, Salvador Perez. The costume designer said sometimes the celebrity even dips into her personal collection .
“Mindy has an enviable shoe closet, so every now and then, when we are looking for something spectacular, Mindy will bring something from her collection. Kurt Geiger is a favorite,” Perez said.

About her shoes in the latest season, on Hulu, Perez said: “In the first season, Mindy was concerned about comfort, so we used a lot of Ferragamo pumps, but now Mindy is all about the look, and a pointy-toed stiletto is our shoe of choice, in bold, bright colors.”
