Rebecca Minkoff’s closet includes about 20 pairs of a similar style, and she’s okay with that. The designer said taupe booties are her thing.
We caught up with the Minkoff at the CFDA Awards, where she spent the night with Chiara Ferragni as her date. “We decided to be twins, not intentionally, but we both picked the same shoes,” said Minkoff of the strappy black style from her line.
Both women said they were on hand to support Kevin Systrom, founder of Instagram. “We are such big fans,” said Ferragni.
Kim Kardashian presented the CFDA Media Award to Systrom on stage.

1. How many pairs of shoes do you personally own?
“200-plus.”

“I’m trying to do mid-heels, but I will probably err more on the flat side.”
3. If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be?
“A taupe suede bootie, because I’m always on the quest for it. I have about 20 pairs of of the same shoe style from different brands.”
