It’s a match made in arena-fashion heaven. Pop fashion designer Jeremy Scott and Madonna are collaborating on the concert wardrobe for the singer’s upcoming world tour. Kicking off September 9 in Montreal, Canada, the 64-show runway will take Madonna around the globe in support of her latest studio album, concluding on March 27 in Brisbane, Australia.
It’s not the first time Scott and the songstress have paired up. He created a graffiti-splashed silk gown to accompany her to this year’s Met Gala, making no mistake of his adoration for her on the red carpet.
Scott, who also moonlights as the creative director of Moschino, is in good company, with Alexander Wang, Fausto Puglisi, Gucci’s Alessandro Michele and Miuccia Prada also contributing looks for the tour. Costume-design duties fall to her longtime partner-in-fashion-crime, Arianne Phillips.
For his part, it’s another coup for Scott, who also designed Katy Perry’s memorable Super Bowl XLIX stage ensembles.

The question still remains: What exactly will Madonna wear on her feet? After a frightening tumble at this year’s Brit Awards, let’s hope she turns to some high-traction, secure footwear. But given her diminutive stature, it’s likely the Queen of Pop will still sport high heels.
