Christian Siriano Answers FN’s 3 Questions

Christian Siriano is in an empire state of mind. The designer hit the CFDA’s with guest Juliette Lewis and then two nights later showed off his colorful resort ’16 collection at a posh New York City apartment.
There, he welcomed guests and friends – from Coco Rocha to some of the cast of “Orange is the New Black like Natasha Lyonne and Jason Biggs. Later in the evening, Solange Knowles made an appearance. It’s safe to say that Siriano surrounds himself with an impressive crowd.
But this summer, Siriano admitted his schedule will calm down a bit. “We just bought a house in Connecticut and I’m going to stay at the pool and hang out,” he said.
Here, Siriano chats with FN and answers our three questions.

1. How many pairs do you personally own?
“I probably own 40 or 50 pairs. I have a great mix of expensive shoes and a Zara shoe.”
2. Heels or flats?
“I always love a heel, but we are showing some really great flats. I think it depends on the look.”
3. If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be?
“I guess I would be some type of chic stiletto. I want to be a classic pump with some type of ruffle or bow on the back.”
