Luxe sneaker brand Buscemi is adding a slide sandal to its offering — the first non-sneaker style for the label.
The unisex slides, which are produced in Italy and retail for $345, are made of calfskin leather and feature Vibram rubber soles. They are available in a black, white, navy, red and orange.
The Los Angeles-based brand, which is known for its 100mm high-top, has gained celebrity traction recently with its sneakers spotted on Justin Bieber, Diddy and Jourdan Dunn.
For its spring ’15 campaign, Buscemi featured legendary record producer Quincy Jones wearing its signature sneakers.
“We’ve dreamt about featuring Quincy since the beginning. It just took two years to make it a reality,” said founder Jon Buscemi. “Working with Greg Gorman … are you kidding me? They got along like schoolyard pals, and the shots came out perfect. We are honored to be among such legendary champions.”
