Kanye West Teases More Yeezy Colors At New York Fashion Week

Until this weekend, rumors had been swirling that Kanye West would show at New York Fashion Week, even though a presentation was not on the official schedule. Now we know that West is indeed showing his Yeezy Season 2 collection — on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 12pm — and it’s causing a bit of uproar.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, new designer Anne Bowen was scheduled to show at the same time and has understandably decided to reschedule in order to not compete with West for attendance and press. Designer Naeem Khan is also set to show at the same time as Yeezy Season 2. West showed his Yeezy Season 1 collection in February at New York Fashion Week for fall 2015. Most of that line has yet to become available to the public.

Meanwhile, West continues to be seen wearing Yeezy sneakers in several colors thought to be from the upcoming collection. At the Alexander Wang show on Saturday, West was spotted in a pair of light gray Yeezy Boost 350s. On Friday, West attended the Givenchy show in a pair of black Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers. That style has only been offered in gray so far.

Since the release of the black Yeezy Boost 350, West has also been spotted in a white pair at James Harden’s birthday party and a beige pair at the MTV Video Music Awards.
