Billboard Awards Red Carpet: Celebrity Shoe Style

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards are off with a bang. The stars are making their way down the newly rolled-out red carpet and heading inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena to see who will walk away with the night’s biggest awards.
This year Taylor Swift took out the prize for most nominated — 14 total across 13 categories — including Best Artist, Best Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist.
Following closely, with 13 nominations, is Sam Smith, who we recently faced off against One Direction’s Harry Styles in FN’s shoe-down — an award we personally believe is as prestigious as a Billboard one.
Nominations and awards aside, we’re far more interested in the fashion we’re seeing. Particularly as with music events such as this, we are often treated to a much clearer shot of the stars’ shoes (predominantly due to the lack of floor-length gowns), and that, quite simply, is what we want. Call us selfish or an occupational hazard, but as far as we are concerned, the shoes are what it’s all about.
