Aldo has released its new fall ’15 ad campaign titled “Inspiration Is Everywhere,” featuring personalities who have unique personal style. The cast includes TV personality and model Irene Kim, artist Phoebe Collings-James, director Sandra Winther, model and musician Staz Lindes, actress Fabianne Therese, DJ Will Power, dancer Joshua Thew, Street Level Culture’s Olu Alege and blogger Chris Nicholas.
The campaign is meant to demonstrate the multifaceted character of individuals. On one side of each ad, there’s a portrait of one of the personalities by photographer Matteo Montanari. On the other side, there’s a still-life shoe photographed by Bela Borsodi.
Aldo chief creative officer, Douglas Bensadoun, says these photos “work in harmony, giving the full story of the individual and what it is that inspires them.”
Erwin Hinteregger, chief marketing officer for Aldo, says that the brand’s interaction with its customers on social media influenced the campaign.
“Social media has transformed fashion — shifting the conversation from the latest trends to how those trends inform personal style. At Aldo we’re incredibly fortunate to have an internationally diverse and style-inspiring clientele,” said Hinteregger. “It was refreshing to uncover how fluid and organic inspiration can be, whether it’s from friends, blogs, observations on the street, an art show or their own style intuition.”
The ads will appear across several channels including print, digital and social media.
