Tommy Hilfiger’s New Ace: Rafael Nadal

In the tennis world, Rafael Nadal is well known for his bold, individual style. Now, the star has been tapped by designer Tommy Hilfiger as the new face of his underwear and tailored collections, beginning in fall ’15.

A longtime endorser for Nike, the Spanish player, winner of 14 Grand Slam singles titles, has shaken up the staid sport with his wildly colorful outfits that showcase signature pieces such as sleeveless shirts, capri-length shorts and bandanas. In a statement, Hilfiger said Nadal “embodies an effortless sense of style that exemplifies and reflects our brand spirit — he’s confident, fun and cool.”
