Tokyo retialer The Apartment is teaming up with New Balance for their first-ever global release, after two special in-house projects. Inspired by Tokyo and NYC in the ’90s, the pack features two styles of the Made in UK 576.
New Balance has teamed up with Tokyo retailer The Apartment before, crafting limited, special-edition releases exclusively for the store. Now, the two have teamed up again, this time for their first global release. For the project, the 576 is their canvas, realized in two color schemes inspired by both Tokyo and New York City style in the 1990s. First up, the TYO style features a grey suede base layer with dark brown leather overlays, and accents in a medium tan shade. The NYC style features a cream white leather build, with ‘Agave’ green accents. Both pairs will come with two sets of waxed laces, and The Apartment branding throughout.

The latest project from Tokyo’s The Apartment and New Balance is scheduled to release this week, on November 4th, 2023. Featuring two colorways of the 576 Made in UK, with the brown pair representing Tokyo and white for NYC, pairs will be available from the brand’s website, with a price tag of approximately $260.
