Swarovski is expanding their partnership with Nike this season, teaming up with Converse for another collaboration to end the year. This time, the Run Star Trainer gets a crystal-studded “Deep Emerald” colorway, coming soon.
The Swarovski crystal company has been working with sneaker brands for almost a decade now. Their foray into the world of footwear started in 2017, when they teamed up with Nike to release an assortment of glittering styles of the Air Max 97. Since then, Swarovski’s crystals have been added to a number of iconic silhouettes from both adidas and Nike, with more projects like an Air Jordan 1 on the way.
This week, Converse has unveiled their latest project featuring a glittery crystal upper, this time featuring their Run Star Trainer silhouette. The simple, low-profile model features the crystalline accent across its entire base layer, save for the One Star logos on each side. The shoe is dressed in a lush “Deep Emerald” green shade for the holidays, and comes with a gum sole to complete the look.

The upcoming release from Swarovski and Converse, decorating the Run Star Trainer in crystal studs, releases this week, on December 13th, 2024. Cast in a “Deep Emerald” green color, pairs will be available through Nike’s SNKRS app for $300.
